Services Offered
What services do you provide?
Lawn mowing and/or gardening services.
What’s included in lawn mowing?
Trimming all lawn edges, mowing the lawns, and blowing grass clippings off hard surfaces afterward.
What’s included in gardening?
Light gardening tasks such as:
- Weeding
- Spraying
- Pruning and trimming plants
- Hedging (up to 2 metres tall)
- Collecting fallen branches
- Removing dead debris
- General garden tidy-ups
What’s not included in gardening?
Our regular maintenance does not include:
- Hedges over 2 metres tall
- Planting or removing plants
- Digging or shifting rocks, bark, or soil
- Chainsaw work or heavy landscaping
Do you offer one-off services?
Not for new customers. However, existing recurring clients can request additional once-off bookings.
Can you service WorkCover clients?
Absolutely. We already assist many WorkCover clients.
Do you work with aged care companies?
Yes — we support many of Australia’s leading Home Care Package providers.
Can you help NDIS participants?
Yes — we support plan-managed NDIS participants. We’re not registered with the NDIS, so we cannot bill directly for self-managed plans.
Do you work with insurance companies?
Yes — we work with several major insurers and are happy to register with yours if needed.
Do you work with DVA participants?
Yes — through third-party agencies only. We don’t offer direct billing to DVA.
Service Areas & Visits
What areas do you service?
QLD: Noosa, Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay, Brisbane, Gold Coast
NSW: Western Sydney, Parramatta to Penrith.
How often do you visit?
Weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. Fortnightly is most common. Monthly is suitable during winter.
Can I lock in a fixed time?
We can’t guarantee exact times due to traffic and job variability, but we do lock in a consistent day and will notify you of any changes.
Can I request the same team each time?
Yes — we aim to keep your regular team, and have backups to ensure reliability if they’re away.
Can I switch gardeners?
Of course — just let us know. It’s easy and won’t affect your price or schedule.
What hours do your gardeners work?
Typically 7am–6pm. Office hours are 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday. Recurring weekend bookings aren’t available, though we may help with one-off weekend jobs.
What happens if our lawn is overgrown?
Please let us know during quoting. If the grass is over 30cm tall, we’ll provide a separate one-time clean-up quote.
Pricing & Payments
How much do your services cost?
From $66. Prices vary based on property size, location, and frequency. Quotes are free.
Are your services hourly rates?
- Lawn mowing: Fixed fee
- Gardening: Hourly rate
Do you need to quote onsite first?
No — we use Google Earth for online quotes. For overgrown sites, we may request a photo.
How do we pay?
You’ll receive an invoice 1–2 days after the service with a link to pay via card or bank transfer. We can also take payment over the phone.
Can we set up auto-pay?
Yes — saving your card for automatic payments is optional and secure.
Do you offer a payment plan?
No — but if you’re having trouble paying, please contact our friendly team for assistance.
Why does the time length of my mowing service change?
Growth varies between visits. Since mowing is a fixed fee, timing may differ but your price stays the same.
How is the gardening rate calculated?
Charged hourly per person. E.g., 1 hour of gardening with 2 gardeners = 30 minutes on site per gardener.
Bookings, Changes & Scheduling
How do I book a service?
Request a quote online. For HCP/insurance, your provider must send a work order.
Can I update or reschedule a visit?
Yes — just let us know the day before. Same-day cancellations incur a 50% fee.
Can I skip services?
Yes, as long as:
- In winter: no more than 4 weeks between visits
- Other seasons: no more than 2 weeks
Additional fees may apply for excess growth.
Can I change services?
Yes — you can switch between mowing, gardening, or both. We can also adjust gardening hours to suit your needs.
What frequencies do you offer?
Weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. We don’t offer casual/one-off bookings for new customers.
Policies & Terms
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Services are auto-recurring, but you can cancel anytime with notice as per our Terms of Service.
What’s your cancellation policy?
24+ hours’ notice required. Same-day cancellations incur a 50% fee.
Customer Experience
What if I’m not home?
That’s fine — just ensure access. We send a 24-hour reminder and can follow any specific instructions you provide in advance.
What if I’m not happy with the service?
Let us know. We’ll resolve it quickly and fairly.
Do you remove grass clippings?
Yes — if requested. We’ll use your green bin if available, or take it away at no extra charge.
Can you send photos when the job’s done?
Yes — just let us know when you book, as it’s not automatic.
What happens if we’ve got pets?
No problem! Please ensure pets are secured. We may skip unsafe areas. Also, clear pet waste before we arrive.
Do you have customer support?
Yes — our friendly team is here to help with bookings, changes, and questions.
How do I know when you’re coming?
You’ll receive a 24-hour reminder email. Your service day stays consistent unless we notify you.

Are you an established business?
Yes — Dylan started in 2017. We now service thousands of homes across SE QLD and NSW.
Are you a franchise?
No — we’re independently operated, with teams made up of employees and local contractors.
Do your staff have police checks?
Yes — all team members and contractors hold valid police checks.
Do you have insurance?
Yes — we carry Public Liability and WorkCover insurance.

Dylan’s Mowing started back in 2017 with our main focus on providing reliable repeating lawn mowing and gardening services for residential and commercial properties.
Service locations for QLD include Brisbane, Sunshine Coast & Gold Coast. Service Locations for NSW include within 45 minutes of Parramatta.
