What Every Visit Covers
We mow all the lawn areas, edge every edge so it looks finished rather than just cut, and blow the clippings off your driveway, paths and patio before we leave. If there is no green waste bin on site, the clippings come with us. That is the standard visit, and it is the same whether you are booked weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
New estates and established blocks are different jobs
Ipswich covers a wider spread of property types than most areas we service, and the difference shows up in the work.
Out through Ripley and the newer estates, a lot of lawns are still establishing. Fresh turf tends to grow hard in its first year or two while the root system settles, so those blocks often need a tighter schedule early on than the owners expect. They are usually flat and open, which makes them quick to cut once you are there.
Closer to the CBD it flips. Older streets around Booval and central Ipswich have mature trees, established garden beds and lawns that have been cut a certain way for decades. More edging, more obstacles, more shade patches where the grass grows unevenly.
We set the frequency against how your lawn actually behaves rather than putting everyone on the same run.

Access matters too. A flat, open block in a new estate is quick work. A steep slope, a narrow side gate, or garden beds that break the lawn into awkward strips all add time, so two yards the same size can land at different prices.
If your lawn has got away from you
Worth knowing before you book. If the grass is properly overgrown when we first arrive, over about 30cm, that first cut takes longer and needs heavier gear. When that happens we tell you before we start that there is a one-off overgrowth charge on the first visit, usually somewhere between $50 and $200 depending on the size of the block and how far gone it is.
Every visit after that is your normal fixed price.
